Q:  How do I book a session with you?

 

A:  To book a session, you can send me a message on Facebook or Instagram, contact me through my website or send an e-mail to [email protected].  We will then coordinate our date, talk specifics and get you booked!

 

 

Q:  What types of sessions do you offer?

 

A:  I specialize in families, children, couples, senior & lifestyle newborn photography!  I have also photographed surprise engagements, parties, company headshots and other special events.  Have something else in mind?  Please feel free to reach out!

 

 

Q:  Do you require a deposit?

 

A:  Yes.  A deposit of $25-$50 (depending on type of session) is required up front to reserve your date.  This is non-refundable.  This fee covers initial communication, all planning & location scouting and reserving your date on my calendar.  The deposit is applied to your session fee.

 

 

 

Q:  Will I receive physical prints with my session?

 

A:  No physical prints are included in your session. You will receive high-resolution, digital images.  There is an option to order physical prints directly from my website from a high-quality, professional print lab, at an additional cost.

 

 

 

Q:  Do you have a studio?

 

A:  No, I do not have a studio of my own.  All of my sessions take place outdoors or in your home.  If you are wanting a studio feel for your session, we can book a spot at The Lumen Room space for an additional fee.

 

 

 

Q:  What location will we use for my session?

 

A:  There are so many options!  I have several locations around the metroplex that I love to use.  We will discuss your preferred aesthetic, what suits you and go from there.  If you have an inspiration photo you love, feel free to send it to me and chances are I have a location that looks similar! Q:  What should we wear?

 

A:  Probably the most asked question!  Coordinating colors work best…this doesn’t mean you all have to wear matching clothes!  You want to compliment each other’s outfits by wearing colors that work well together. When picking patterns,  choose smaller ones that won’t draw attention away from the main subject/subjects.  Also, use patterns sparingly…if one person is wearing a print, try to avoid putting someone else into a competing pattern.  Clothing texture is something else to think about…it gives photos some interest!  Lace, knit sweaters & denim are great.  Try to avoid clothing with big logos as it draws attention away from your beautiful faces and the emotion on them.  Most importantly, let your personalities shine!  Wear something that is uniquely YOU!  If you need any help with outfits, please always feel free to reach out to me.  I’m happy to help!  For some inspiration, I created a Bonne Blue Photography Pinterest account with boards for each season!  Access it here:  www.pinterest.com/bonnebluephotography


Q:  Can I bring my dog/pet to our session?

 

A:  Absolutely!  I love it when families include their fur babies in photos!

 

 

 

Q:  What happens if I need to reschedule?

 

A:  I understand life happens, kids get sick and things go wrong.  If you need to reschedule for any reason, please try to give me at least 24 hours notice, when possible.  Communication is key!  Please reach out to me if you have any concerns that you may need to reschedule.  I will work with you to reschedule your date at no additional fee.

 

 

 

Q:  What happens if I’m running late to my session?

 

A:  Please plan accordingly to give yourself enough time to get to your session.  I know traffic can be unpredictable sometimes, kids have last minute needs, etc., so if this happens please call or text me to let me know.  Again, communication is key!  I respect your time and put in every effort to be on time and I appreciate the same courtesy extended to me.  If you are more than 10-15 minutes late to your session, that time will be deducted from your overall session time.

 

 

 

Q:  How long will it take to get my photos back?

 

A:  My current turnaround time is 2 weeks for most sessions.  The exception to this is a newborn lifestyle session which has a 3 week turnaround.  These times can change during my peak seasons…Fall & Spring.  I will always let you know ahead of time what my current turnaround will be.  Need your photos sooner?   I now offer a Rush option for an additional fee…please reach out to me for pricing!
